It’s the last week of October and as we ~~speak~~ I type, it’s a cool 91 degrees here in the Old Pueblo. I’m so ready for the temperature to finally turn and the sun to release it’s furry.

One day last winter, husband came home with some fancy shmancy new gloves. Fancy, because they gave him bionic powers when using his smart phone. He no longer would have to take off the entire glove to get the screen to respond. I’d never seen such a thing…and I was jealous. He had found something “techie” before I had.

So when Isotoner approached me about reviewing their new smartTouch gloves, I knew my redemption was nigh.

I got my cute turquoise and black gloves with the usual Isotoner style and quality in the mail and tried them out immediately. I turned the AC down to 50, pulled my Droid out and started smart phoning away. Ok that AC part’s a lie, but I did get to test out the whole functionality of the glove and I was definitely impressed with the way it interacted with the screen on my phone.

The gloves are made with conductive thread on the thumb and index finger. It took me a few minutes of “learning curve” to know just how to press and what angle to turn my finger and thumb. But I quickly got comfortable with the gloves and was able to accurately interact with my phone on a consistent basis.
