I love technology and the digital life. Its my livelihood and my passion.
But unless I want to go bonkers from having my nose constantly stuck in my Mac Book Pro, I have to have other pass times…pass times that are more tangible in nature. Its good for my soul, know what I mean?
Most weekends you will find me with a crochet hook in my hand or at a Friday night crop with my Tucson Chicks. And as much as possible, nowhere near my computer.
I’ve been scrapbooking for 15 years and crocheting is something I just recently picked up. Back in February I was determined to learn, so I did what any digital girl would do…I hit YouTube. And I’m so glad I did. Bethintex1 taught me how to crochet. She is excellent…she literally starts with “…and here is how you hold the hook”…which is what I needed.
I love to create with different mediums. I just need a break from the digital life and have to actually feel things in my hands. You may find me posting more frequently about these other passions. Hope you don’t mind…

And passions…. hmmm…. I think it would have to be cooking. And helping.

I, for one, wouldn’t mind a bit; I love to see the crafty wares of people more talented than I. You better watch out, though. If you start putting too much great stuff up, I’m liable to commission something.
