Holiday Cards in a Snap {Giveaway}

By Nicole · Comments (108)
Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

UPDATE: The winner of this giveaway is #2, Chrysa!

There was a time when trying to get a decent Christmas picture of three boys at the same time was too much for this mommy to handle. I resigned myself to the fact that someone would be looking away, pinching someone else or picking their nose.

But now with the ability to leverage cell phone and video game privileges, its not half bad.

Oh, there might be a few to sift through to find that perfect shot…

But eventually there will be a few that work.

Once you recover from the circus that is taking your holiday pictures, the rest is a breeze with Snapfish. They have made the process of selecting, designing and ordering your holiday cards a snap. You simply browse thousands of designs, upload your images (or use any from your previously uploaded albums), write your greeting and checkout. The whole process took me 16 minutes from start to finish to come up with the card above. And if you need help, Snapfish is there with Live Chat and an excellent tutorial.

And this year, I am thrilled (…thrilled…) to get to offer my own designs to the Snapfish community. Here are a couple of the holiday designs in my Snapfish shop…

As always, Snapfish has some great insitives and promotional goodness for you to take advantage of…

3. Entries must be made by Tuesday, November 9 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Don’t forget to stop by the #gno Twitter party tonight!

Blogger Video Tutorial Series: How to Use Blogger’s Template Designer – Part I

By Nicole · Comments (3)
Friday, October 22nd, 2010

Time to delve more deeply into Blogger. Every Friday for the next several weeks, I’ll be going over different aspects of Blogger…things like how to add tags, embed video, etc. Today I’m starting with the new Template Designer features.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video…if you already have a blog on Blogger and paid to have a custom design, you may not want to worry about switching to the Template Designer. You’ve paid good money to get the look you want and there’s no need to mess with perfection! But if you are in need of a new look and want to attempt it yourself, I say…go for it!

Pink Gives

By Nicole · Comments (0)
Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

This month you can’t fling a bra without hitting something pink. Pink hats, pink ribbons, pink umbrellas…I love it. Here are a few of my favorites.

My son’s football team got in the action…

Love this necklace from StephieMc’s Etsy shop…

and who could resist such a subtle message as this…?

This year, Snapfish is contributing to the fight against breast cancer in a big way by launching its new Pink Gives Store, offering custom card designs, calendars, notebooks, notepads, cards, and stickers.

As you may or may not know, yours truly has the privilege of being one of Snapfish’s new Publisher designers. And I’m proud to offer my own 5×7 photo card design in my shop in honor of this special month. Its called Bird on a Wire.

These designs can be used throughout the year…for birthdays, baby announcements, girl’s night out, a Spring luncheon, etc. Use your imagination!

For any purchase made, Snapfish will donate 30 percent of the proceeds to BreastCancer.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the most up-to-date, reliable, medically reviewed information on breast health and breast cancer to help those affected by breast cancer. Plus, if you spend $10 on any Pink Gives product through October, you’ll receive a free set of address labels! Simply use promotional code PINKGIVES during checkout to take advantage of this generous offer.

So take a look at all that Snapfish has to offer, and remember. Save the ta tas…
